(More customer reviews)The wooden handle makes my 2 year old feel like a grown up. Toddlers won't be able to open it themselves (at least not all the way) which is nice to prevent accidents in the house. It's easy for my son to hold upright. I'm very glad we purchased this.

(More customer reviews)After an extensive comparison shopping both on-line and in stores between Uggs and Emus, I decided to purchase the latter in brown. The shearling Emu company uses is of finer quality than the one by Uggs. The rubber sole is sturdy which offers good traction, and I also like that they are water proof. I've worn them a few times already in the rain without a problem. If you feel extra cautious, you can buy a waterproof spray from a shoe store for an additional layer of protection. I still find it surprising that Emu has not received much more attention than it should. I would buy them again and would recommend them to my family, friends and coworkers. I bought a half-size down as I would have with Uggs. I hope this review helps someone.
