(More customer reviews)I have been on a desperate search for the perfect rain boot. Because I am 5'1, I always wear wedges or heels. So I have been looking for a rain boot that had a wedge or a heel (because all of my pants are hemmed longer and I need the height). I saw these, and loved them, and of course thought they would be perfect. I ordered them and anxiously awaited the delivery. I get them (yesterday), opened the box, took one look and was SO disappointed. They are huge. They are longer and pointier than pictured, making my feet HUGE looking. Moreover, and perhaps most importantly, the sizing SUCKS. To make a shoe that is for people who range between two sizes is pointless. I am an 8 so I ordered the size 8-9 and wondered how in the world the boot would comfortably fit a person who wears and 8 equally as a person who wears a 9, but I took a leap of faith. So I put them on and they are swimming and me. SO now, I have to send them back, totally disappointed and still rain bootless. No, I would not bother ordering a size down because I have a wider forefoot and I know I would be totally scrunched (and since they are rubber and not leather, they won't stretch). SO here we go, back to the post office and back to the internet to continue the quest for the perfect rain boot.
